A new recipe book called ‘A taste of Glencoe’ was published recently as a fundraising exercise for the GHT.
The idea started with Kathie M Shepherd, Punxsutawney, PA, USA who traces her ancestry from Glencoe, as a means of helping to raise money for the trust. After a few months of corresponding and collecting recipes, both locally & from the USA, the book was finally published.
Priced at £4.50, plus £1.00 postage (UK), and £1.50 (overseas), the book offers some delicious recipes, plus some rare black/white pictures of the local area.
